termuna

One session.
Every screen.

Termuna is a fast, lightweight terminal for Linux, macOS, and Windows. Close your laptop mid-build — the session keeps running on your machine, and follows you to the web and your phone. Encrypted end to end.

termuna — build-server

Left the desk mid-build. Finished it from the couch. Same shell, same scrollback — the process never noticed.

Light is a number,
not an adjective.

These are Termuna's budgets — enforced in CI, published with every release. If a build exceeds them, it doesn't ship. For reference, the most popular Electron terminal downloads at 90 MB and idles above 300 MB of RAM.

Termuna performance budgets
Cold start, to first prompt < 300 ms
Memory, three tabs open < 100 MB
Keystroke to glyph < 20 ms
Installer < 30 MB

Native Rust, GPU-rendered. No Electron, no webview, no browser engine pretending to be a terminal.

A complete terminal,
out of the box.

Everything you left Tabby and Termius for stays. Nothing you loved about them is missing.

Tabs & split panes
Nested splits in any direction. The layout is a first-class object — it's what syncs, restores, and resurrects.
SSH, first-class
Connection manager, jump-host chains, port forwarding, agent forwarding, SFTP. Import from PuTTY, Tabby, or Termius in one step.
Profiles & themes
Shell and connection profiles, ligatures, any font, themes that don't require an account to sync.
Hotkeys, your way
Every action remappable, multi-chord supported, quake mode with a global shortcut.
Search that works
Indexed scrollback search. Forty thousand lines is not a hang — it's a query.
Calm by contract
Nothing interrupts typing. No popups in the input path, no AI completing your thoughts uninvited. Ever.

The session outlives the screen.

Turn on sync and your session — every tab, every split, the full scrollback — mirrors to Termuna Cloud as it happens. Your dashboard at termuna.com/u/you lists every live session. Open one in the browser or on your phone and type into the same shell, still running on your machine.

Reboot the machine and nothing is lost: history stays in the cloud, and the desktop app resurrects the whole layout — tabs, splits, working directories — into fresh shells with one click.

The relay stores ciphertext it cannot read. Session keys are generated on your devices and never leave them unwrapped; frames are sealed with XChaCha20-Poly1305 before they touch the network. We could not sell your scrollback if we wanted to — and we don't want to.

The terminal is free.
Continuity is the product.
