What do I lose if I never sign up?
Nothing local. The Termuna terminal is complete and free forever without an account. A free account includes one live cloud session to try continuity. Every machine records and searches its own command history on any plan. Solo and Team add unlimited live sessions, cloud history through reboots, encrypted connection sync, and command history carried between your machines, the dashboard and your phone.
What does "reach a machine that is running nothing" mean?
On the free plan, a machine shows up on your phone and in the dashboard while it has a session open. With Cloud, a signed-in machine stays reachable even with nothing running, so you can start a session on your desktop from your phone, open a saved host on it, or pick a dormant session back up. A machine that is switched off or asleep reads as asleep, because we will not pretend to reach a closed laptop. What the relay learns, and how to turn it off.
Is my data really private on paid plans?
Yes. Termuna's encryption is identical on every tier. The server never holds keys and never sees plaintext. See how.

How long do you keep my session history?
A free account keeps 30 days of session history, Solo and Team keep 12 months, counted from the last time the session was live. After that the frames are deleted for good. How far back you can scroll inside that window depends on the plan too: free holds the newest 4,096 frames of a session, Solo and Team hold the newest 200,000 lines. Everything we hold is end to end encrypted, so deleting it is the only thing we can do with it. The full rule.
What happens to a session when its time is up?
It disappears from your list with its scrollback. The date it goes is shown on the session at least 14 days beforehand. Nothing else goes: your account, your devices, your vault and your snippets have no retention window. You can export everything on every tier, at any time.
How does team billing work?
Termuna team plans are billed per seat. Seats update automatically as you invite and remove members, and only the owner manages billing.
