0.2.12

Released 2026-09-18. 1 entry.

Fixed: Ctrl+Tab walks to the next tab, the way the docs have always said

With three tabs open, Ctrl+Tab bounced between two of them forever and the third was unreachable by keyboard. The defaults bound ctrl+tab twice, to last_tab first and to next_tab seven lines later, and the matcher runs the first binding it finds, so the documented next-tab key was dead code and nothing advanced a tab at all. Ctrl+Tab is now next tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab is previous tab, exactly what termuna.com/docs/keybindings publishes. The MRU toggle, back to the tab you came from, keeps working and moves to Ctrl+Shift+L. A test now refuses any duplicate combo in the defaults instead of pinning this one, which is the check that would have caught it when it was introduced.

An install that has run an earlier build carries the old key in its own config file, because the app persists the whole keymap, so a new default alone would never have reached the machines with the bug. A stored ctrl+tab = last_tab that has no other home for the MRU toggle is the old default repeating itself, not a choice, and it is migrated to the new key once on load. A keymap that deliberately puts the toggle on Ctrl+Tab, or binds the combo to anything else, is left alone.
